Had this compressor for a year, then it broke. Wont go over 90psi and just runs and runs. When it worked it was a nice little compressor for little jobs.

Q: Can I get a higher SCFM by increasing my PSI on a compressor ?

A: Depends if you are speaking about short term SCFM output to your tool or SCFM input replenishing the tank but YES increasing the PSI will increase both PSI and volume of air to your tool but only until the pump kicks in at which point the pump will not be able to keep up as well as it would at lower pressures. IE the tank may continure to be depleted of air even with the pump running. So basically when using a higher pressure for increased air volume output use in short bursts when the tank is filled and when the pump kicks in let it fill the tank before using tool again.

A: Ce compresseur n'a pas de problèmes de fonctionnement des outils pour le travail de la maison mécanicien. Le pistolet fourni avec le kit est prévu pour une utilisation pour les petits et moyens travaux de peinture (exemple: frissons, meubles de jardin, etc.). Q: changing tires would this be able to remove lug nuts from a car? The other vers 8 gal Canadian Tire brand does not

A: The first thing that you need to know is what CFM (cubic feet per minute) rating the impact driver has for maximum torque. That will dictate compressor size. If the compressor is too small to provide enough air for the impact gun, the gun will not run at it's full torque rating and may not be able to do the job that you need.

Q: Will this compressor run the mastercraft air tool set 58-9368-6, the scfm requirement of the impact wrench is 3.7 @ 90PSI ? The compressor is the Campbell Hausfeld 8 Gallon 200 PSI Air Compressor.
