I like both of these

I like both of these scopes, the glass is very clear . Both scopes are compact and light. I am putting the Banner 1.5-4.5 on a Ruger American Ranch .300 blkout. I have not decided what I will put the Elite on, but out of the box I like it better than a Vortex Crossfire II 1-4 that I have had for a couple of years. You may laugh but the glass looks better on the Bushnell to me.

Q: would this scope be good for 22 caliber if not what Bushnell scope do you recommend

A: You can use it on a .22rimfire but learn about parallax and how it affects focus. Scopes made for .22rimfire typically are designed to be parallax free at 50 yards or metres range as that is thought most appropriate for the effective range of .22rimfire cartridges. Scopes for centrefire cartridges are typically set to be parrallax free at 100 yards or metres or if they have higher magnifications (typically 10x or more) they may have an Adjustable Objective (AO) lens to set the parallax at longer ranges. For most of the shooting that most of us do with a .22rimfire, a fixed power 4x scope has plenty of magnification, a good size field of view, and the simplicity is good. Consider Bushnell's rimfire series scopes like the 4x32mm.
