I'm glad this is discontinued. Noisiest thing on the planet. Definitely keeps all the animals within 100 sq km aware of your existance.

For Emergency Only

If you have hours to spare, and lots of patience, this pump is okay for the price. There are problems, the valves pop out at times. Make sure to wear shoes, the bottom surface is very flimsy and your feet will feel every stone and pebble under it. It's not worth the effort, I'm returning it for the power pump.

J'en ai acheté un il y a plus de 25 ans, et il fonctionne encore très bien. Faut être un peu patient si on doit gonfler quelque chose de très gros (ex: matelas épais 2 places), mais c'est assez rapide pour les articles plus petits. Sa principale utilité, c'est en camping sauvage quand on n'a pas d'électricité et qu'on veut gonfler un matelas.

This seemed like a good idea but it takes a heck of a lot of pumping to inflate anything, I now only use it if I can't drag the item over to my car to use my plug in pump

A: This pump will not work for inflating a basketball. You won't be able to reach high enough pressure. Try a bike tire pump with a needle adapter.

Q: Is this better then a hand pump for air mattresses (bed)

A: I know this question was asked years ago, but maybe my answer will help others. This is similar to a hand pump. Yes, it says it's a foot pump, but eventually I got down and used both of my hands to make it go faster. I don't like this product, better off with a power pump.
