Garrison electronic deadbolt

Picked up on sale. Very good buy but these are all getting cheaper now, so look around before buying and check out the reviews. This one has a small remote which you can attach to a key chain which is quite handy. Have had three different types and this one is at least as good or better than the others I've had - Schlage and Weiser.

Here is how to reset passcode

➯ Enter existing PC (For initial setup, enter “123456”, otherwise, enter your personalized PC)
➯ Press "lock" + 4
➯ Press "lock "and new password
➯ Reenter "lock" and new password
➯ Press "lock"
The device will beep and the indicator light will be solid green. Your new PC is now ready to use.

I was able to install this myself, it works well. I have had no more lost keys. I also like to be able to change the door code when needed

A: Since the batteries are housed on the inside of the door this should be the heated side and not too cold for the batteries or the electronics

Q: Why is it that neither Garrison nor Canadian Tire can provide instructions for how to reset the combination on the keyless deadbolts they sell? I called the 800 number on the package and was told that someone would call me back. A website with PDF manuals (like almost every other company has) would be professional.
