Different Use

I was erecting a metal gazebo with the posts situated on the grass beside the stone patio. To secure the posts, I hammered in skinnier metal T fence posts. Inside the the PVC Sewer pipe, I secure an ABS black pipe in the centre using 3 shims at each end. Then using the holes and gaps at the ends, I foamed between the PVC and ABS pipes. Once dry, I put the PVC/ABS pipe over the skinny T metal posts --- about 2.5-3ft high. Double checked measurements again (tricky) and slid the gazebo post over top. Once I got all 4 posts connected, I double checked measurements again. Gazebo is firm in the ground and does not jiggle or make sounds. On my previous, gazebo, I only had to use ABS as the gazebo posts had less girth.
