Bought this years ago. Used it today still works in bright sun. Dried to a slightly tacky substance that was sand able. No problems. As the sun cures it more less tacky.

Really good product, people just can't read instructions

I used this product a few times to fill large dents. It's good as the finish putty also. Apply it, then put it into the sun and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then use an 80-grit paper to get rid of the tacky surface, then go with 120 grit, 240 grit, and finer ones to finish it off. Great product, but because soooo many people just can't read the instructions, they pulled it off the shelves. So now I have to go through the hassle of a 2-part Bondo compound... Oh well, one more great product that wasn't understood by clients.

Wow thanks a lot man honestly for wasting hours of my time, pure garbage product. As everyone else stated, the putty didn't want to dry after being left out for a long time. I used it on the hood and roof of my car to finish a repair and it completely botched up all of my work. I had to remove all of the glue-like crap off my car with a wire brush and drill which took 2 hours, then I had to re-apply bondo to the car, re-sand everything and paint everything once again. Wasted about 6 hours of my time and materials. Wish I had seen the reviews before purchasing and using.

PLEASE Get this Garbage Off The Selves

I too went to buy regular Bondo spot putty but they didn't have it so I tried this UV activated garbage. Unfortunately I applied it and an hour later after it wasn't drying I came here to read the reviews. Unbelievable that they haven't removed this from the shelves. However, I printed off the reviews and took those and the open and partially used package back to customer service and did get a refund. The power wire brush on the grinder removed it but it took the finishing back a few steps.

A: My test ate 1 - 2 mm into 2lb/cu ft. styrofoam, and then cured. A few more layers might restore the level.
