Basic 4G phone is affordable. Some quirks.

Bought this model 2.5 years ago to have wi-fi Internet access in public areas. Then I did not have a cellular number or plan. Was ok for basic scrolling or emails. The screen can freeze on Instagram viewer sites where one or two pop-up ads can basically take up most of screen until ads are closed so the 1gb RAM is sometimes insufficient.
Can log onto bank wifi but such sites can prevent access to any sites where user has to prove 18+ yr of age or streaming service account i.e. Disney+ . When connected to municipal or library wifi, I can access most sites without issue.
When I obtained a prepaid plan and phone number this summer and connected my Gmail account to the phone, I now can longer access my Yahoo accounts away from home without triggering a code issue first. I will have to change the recovery accounts as a result.
Phone-basic use and sound quality. Voicemail seems to run on 3G only.
It is a bonus to have dual sim slots if I should want to buy data with another telecom. Phone works on Freedom network as well as other carriers via Nationwide calling. Description does not mention that phone uses a micro-usb charger. Would advise buyers to get the Kikkerland Travel Buddy kit for charging on the go as usb c ends of 10-15cm cable can have lightning, micro-usb or usb A ends slipped over each end. Also kit would allow phone to connect to usb c hub or tablet too. Might need a phone stand for phone when connecting to laptopor tablet.
Headphones use 1/4 inch jack.

A: I have two of these phones - I'm not sure what the ad said - but mine do have 1GB RAM and 32GB storage. These are great, two SIM-card phones and work with all Canadian networks. I've been a using BLU phones for years and find them durable and proving excellent value.
