Functional and lightweight

I’ve owned this Workmate model for a while now and still use it regularly on jobsites as a sawhorse and a vise. Over time the foldout legs still work but 3 of the four legs fold but won’t snap back into the stored position since the plastic clips have broke off. I still would recommend this as a portable work surface and vise. It has lasted longer than I expected.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Workmate is a Workhorse!

I have had the previous Workmate 200 for 30 years, and love it. It has continues to be my Go To. It is a great portable work bench. This new Workmate 225 is a great addition with some improvements. It is the same height as the 200. The new 3 position rear board allows for clamping wider boards (9" vs 5") than on the older model. The new 225 is about 5 pounds lighter than the old one, but seems every bit as durable, and the boards are durable bamboo vs the older model's MDF boards. All in all this is a great work bench and you can't beat it for versatility at the price.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Pins don’t fit in. Instructions are junk. Do not recommend.

Looks good, but cheap

I have an older version from my dad. I love it and use it quite a bit. I'm sure I'll use this one a lot as well....as long as it lasts. These newer ones look and feel very cheap. The quality of the materials are definitely less quality than their older ones. Can definitely tell Black and Decker is trying to cut costs over value and quality.

Yes, I recommend this product.
