Potential fire hazard if bowl is cracked

I bought this a few years ago and it worked ok for the first 2 years, despite having burnt kernels every batch and needing to keep a close eye on it for overheating. Then the lid/ bowl cracked without warning - small cracks at the edge and one handle fell off, but still "useable". Then during one batch, the plastic around the edges started melting and started to smoke. We threw it away immediately.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works great but bowl is cracking!

Bought 2 months ago it works great, pops every kernel but now the bowl has cracks in it already!!! Very disappointing

So simple Easy to use and very quick. Don't add too much corn.Melt the solid fat beforehand and add it towards the end; it makes it very delicious.
