Size is on the small side

I am between 10 and 11 (10.5 but doesn't really exist so I size up) these skates are fantastic except they are on the small side I'd say much closer to a 10 barely (women's). I was hoping they would be roomy for warm socks but no such luck. Otherwise they are really nice comfy skates.

These skates are so light and comfy... I was replacing my old Nike skates which where stiff and heavy. The Bauer skates make my feet very happy on the ice.

A: No, we don't recommend playing ice hockey in these as they don't provide a stiff enough support for your ankles when you're playing intensely and they also don't have a hard enough shell and toe cap to protect from pucks.

Q: Are these skates sized like hockey skates - 1.5 to 2 sizes smaller than 'shoe' size.

A: Bauer Recreational Skates run true to men’s shoe size, but unfortunately do not come in half sizes. The recommendation if you wear a half shoe size is to wear a half size down. Therefore if you are a size 8.5 a size 8 skate is recommended.

Q: Rocker/Profile radius, and steel type? What is the rocker/profile radius of the blade? Also, are the blades stainless steel? CT states carbon-steel, but many other websites show them as stainless steel....
