Barbie® Bakery Chef Doll & Playset

I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. Wetting the tip of the decorating bag to decorate the cupcakes is her favorite part. And the bread and cupcakes that rise in the oven when you turn to knob is a plus. Great idea! We love Barbie's outfit with the cute cupcake apron.

My daughter received this as a birthday gift and she loves it so much! I think it’s absolutely adorable too. My daughter loves to frost the cupcakes and she will do it over and over again. She uses this set a lot to make stop motion videos and it is so cute with all the accessories - the spatula, bowl, cake, and cake mix. Putting the cupcakes and the cake in the oven and watching them “rise” is also a lot of fun! My daughter also loves the Barbie that comes with this set and it has become one of her favorites. Her little red headband is so cute and the graphic detail on her shirt is adorable. This is a great set for any Barbie lover!

My daughter was very excited to receive the Barbie doll and knew exactly what it was even though she doesn't have any others. She wanted to open the box immediately and find out what accessories it came with. She very quickly found out that the cakes rose in the oven and enjoyed playing kitchen role play with me and the doll. After about 40 minutes playing she wanted to watch Barbie on Netflix. Since then she has separated the doll from the kitchen things and either played with Barbie (building her a house with blocks) or played kitchen role play.

Just received this and didn’t have to entertain my daughter for a very long time after :). She got busy with this adorable Barbie set straight away. It has so many details and features from the “ding” sound the oven makes, watching the cupcakes and cake rise in the oven, the water frosting for the cupcakes and of course Barbie in her adorable apron and oven mit, what’s there not to love?! We love baking as a family and now she was in charge. Provides great imaginative play.

my daughter loved this Barbie. Somehow we end up with a lot of kitchen sets as they get played the longest. This one looks like just a Barbie with a kitchen range but comes with a loaf of bread and cupcakes. Both of which go into the oven and can be "dinged" into raised bread and fluffy cupcakes. Very nice touch! The piping bag that sits in a hole on the counter, which when filled with water wets the tip of the piping bag, which then paints really beautiful designs on each of the cupcakes- another very nice touch! This kept my daughter busy for the better part of an evening the day it arrived. There are also a lot of other little gadgets-an oven mitt, a bowl, spoon and spatula (which have doubtless been misplaced since!) Barbie's apron could have been a lot bigger. it's easy to lose. I have the same issue with the tiny spoon and spatula. As they don't have any real use they tend to get lost almost instantly. It would be nice if they hooked on to something on the side of the kitchen range. Even though right now the little slots allow them to be held by Barbie etc there is no real place to reliably store them.
