Everything I mix with these beaters sticks to the beaters, and climbs up to the bottom of the beater unit itself. Becomes a big mess and batters are not properly mixed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

To prevent this from happening, we recommend trying these quick adjustments:
• Start on the lowest setting for thick batters.
• Ensure the ingredients do not exceed the recommended bowl capacity.
• Add your liquids before your dry ingredients to keep the mixture fluid at the bottom.

I bought this product to replace the mixer I've had for 10+ years as the beaters were rusting on it. I thought the coated beaters on this one would be an improvement. Absolutely terrible! Anything I've tried to mix from potatoes to whipped cream to cake batter clings on for dear life turning into 2 giant blobs that climb up the beaters and stick. I have to constantly stop and scrape off in order to get an even mix. Today, my carrot cake batter collected and was climbing into the attachment holes! I'd return if I could! I don't even want to donate it because it'll become someone else's problem. Bummed as I've always loved Black and Decker products. I'll definitely be buying a replacement.
