The Yardworks Replacement Axe Handle can renew the strength and durability of worn or damaged tools. Available in multiple lengths, the handle lets you customize the balance and control of your axe. I bought the axe handle a week or so ago and have not yet fit the old axehead to it. I did find the new handle much wider on the handle portion than the old which I’m not a great fan of. I often use the axe with only one hand and a large handle makes that difficult. Anyway the jury is still out on how easy it will be to put the old axehead on the new handle and how well it will handle. Therefore a rating of only 3 for the moment. N

Q: Does this replacement axe handle include wedges or do I have to purchase the wedges separately?

A: There is 1 piece of timber wedge and 2 pieces of metal wedges, as well as replacement instruction sheet attached on the handle.
