Q: Would this product work to remove an accumulation of brake dust and the sand from winter road sanding that has become like cement on the rims or dos Autoglym have a better product for heavy deposits on rims?
3 years ago- A: In my experience magma works on fine brake dust particles or those "rust" looking spots on the cars paint. It may be worth trying this, but in my experience after winter driving I have to clay bar my cars paint to get rid of that sand paper like feeling from all the stuck on grit and rocks left over from winter driving. 5 years ago- A: You would use Magma as you would on any car. Since it is pH neutral, it will not harm or effect the ceramic coating. Of course will only remove any contamination on top of the ceramic coating, but if it has been applied correctly there should not be any contamination under the ceramic anyway.5 years agoHelpful?

Q: Anyone use this on an after market finish like Ceramic Coat finishes? Does it turn purple on contact with iron? When rinsing do you have to wipe to remove it? Can this be applied to vehicle when it's wet (after the initial wash to get dirt off)?
6 years ago- A: Autoglym Magma is pH natural so it is safe to use on ceramic type finishes. It changes colour on contact with iron based contamination in order to help spot the tiny particles. It can be used on a wet surface and It is not necessary (but you can) to wipe, but it should be thoroughly rinsed after using to ensure no product is left behind.6 years agoHelpful?
