Works great. Granddaughter likes it. Speaker is not time greatest sound though.

Great light for the office

Recommend using with the Tuya app and not the Artika app. Can't be added to G Home as it reports device is offline as it's BT only.

Bought the light for my teenage son's room. Easy to install, no issues there. App requires an account, for what reason I have no clue. Thought the light/speaker seemed like a good idea, theoretically has great potential, but practically it's a poor product. The light beeps every time you switch it on, then has a tone announcing it's connected to a Bluetooth device; the volumes of these are not adjustable, so if you have a light sleeper in a nearby room, they'll be woken up. The coloured light modes are so dim they're useless except as a night light. But then when the light is switched back on in the morning, the actual full light has to be switched with your phone, as it just stays in whichever mode was last selected. If you actually want to use the features of the light (different colours, patterns, etc) you have to have your phone handy at all times. Also, if you leave the light connected to your phone, every time someone walks into the room and turns the light on, the speaker starts playing whatever is on the connected device at whatever volume was last played. There is so much potential here; slow simulated sunrise in the morning, sunset colours at night, playing a song as an alarm in the morning, well-designed app with calendar and alarm integration, automatic brightness/colour temp/speaker volume changes based on time of day... none of which this light or app do. I should have read the description of its features before I bought it; I made all sorts of assumptions (based on the quite high price) that this was a very well thought-out product with brilliant features. Turns out, it's a mediocre light attached to a poor-quality bluetooth speaker. Great idea, high potential, poor execution.

I bought this a bit ago for a reno and I finally got to the point to install. Install was easy. The problem I have with it is that the Artika app is so terrible it crashes e very time you try and open it. Then the app the recommend you download instead does work, but drops connection every 4minutes. So the light flickers, turns off, then back on. Plus this newer app doesn't have the music capability with it. Don't waste your money. I can't even use this as a light. Way more hassle than it is worth.
