Worked as expected. Soaked for 6-7 hours and rinsed. Takes a while for the cartridge filters to dry. For best results, clean filters multiple times per summer season.

Q: I have used this product to clean my sand filter. I waited 8 hours, then wasted half my pool water to reduce CYA, refilled it back and ever since 5 days ago pool is super cloudy and milky. All my parameters are balanced and I applied clarifier.

A: is your water too soft? add some water hardener like Calcium. This is what I have to do.

Q: Have glass bead filter on pool, had alot of algae this year. Got it under control and have been using creepy crawler pool auto cleaner. Want to run something through filter make sure no algae residue. Suggestions?

A: I used the filter cleaning solution as per instructions allowing the solution to sit in the filter overnight with the system shut down. Next morning the backwash revealed a consistently black liquid expulsion. Using it now as an annual closing procedure.
