Excellent quality product

What ever product is pictured for the item is not the set I picked up. The product is made by Primus. The Litech pots and pan are quality! Non-stick, easy to clean and light! Perfect for car camping or backpacking! I brought just the smallest pot and lid hiking around the BC interior and it proved itself invaluable! A great Primus product. Mind you if this is for one person I would go with a smaller set up.

Very Good Cooking Pots

These cooking pots are very good! The not stick coating really helps and the covers don't get to hot to handle. The only thing to be careful with is on a large/open flame, to keep the handles in the open position to avoid having them overheat. Overall, great set, that packs light and compact.

Worth the price.

I've got to be honest, this will not compete with the $60+ quality sets. But on sale in the low 20's it's more than worth it. The handles are flimsy and I could see coming apart over time. The lid handle is made from plastic, seems odd given those use of these pots. The pots are solid and cook well, more than worth the price tag.
I bought another set before this one; the pots were big to the point of stupid. These pots are small, perfect for 1-2 people. They fit together nicely, comes with a bag, and are light as can be.

This is a "diamond in the rough"

The packaging was sort of plain and cheep looking when I picked this up off the shelf. But when I started using this cook set it became indispensable!
I started using this cook set for backpacking expeditions in the summer of 2011. The small pot is perfectly sized for a single meal out on the trail, it's surprising just how much food you can cook in the thing. I regularly cook 1000+ calorie meals out on the trail with this.
I've now been using the cook set to do ALL of my cooking for me and my g/f at home and at camp for almost 6 months. Everything still performs exactly as new. Nothing sticks to these things, very easy to clean, very compact and most importantly for me LIGHTWEIGHT for backpacking.
This is the cook set to get hands down.

Q: does "anodized" mean non-stick?

A: No. However, the Canadian Tire anodized cook set is anodized, and also has a teflon coating on the cooking side. So it is in fact non-stick.

Q: Can these be used over open flame such as a campfire or bbq?

A: I tried it last year and it was fine. The pot was not damaged and it did not emit weird smells either so I assume it's fine. I would use it over an open fire again.
