I played competitive soccer as a youth and I remember spending close to $100 dollars for a pair of goalie gloves. Now my son is playing in goal and we bought him these gloves and we're happily suprised with the quality of glove for this price.

Q: Do these gloves have foam besides just the grip on the outside? Other pairs at Canadian Tire stores don't, practically no protection and don't absorb the ball. I need the best gloves for rep. soccer.

A: The palm of most soccer goal gloves is made of a foam material with the intention to soften the impact while maintaining feel for the ball when making a save. The material on the exterior or back of the glove is made of a material that is soft and supple and should protect the hand minimally from any brush or abrasions in a game situation.
