Takes a lot of work to put together, but is very sturdy and effective! Has worked very well in our home made wine cellar.

The pegs don't stay in the metal pieces. I tried to use tape but nothing worked. The instructions.

It was such a pain to put it together. No instructions in words. Just a couple of sketches.

Excellent... But not for bigger wine bottles

Easy to assemble once you watch the video (do not try looking at the assembling instructions, you'll get yourself very confused) just watch the video and it's super easy... Does the job for regular wine bottles and not the bigger ones.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I really like the rack. It's exactly as described. A bit of a pain to put together but exactly what I was looking for, works well and lasts a long time. I have 3 I bought years ago and they are still in good shape.
Q: Is the shape adjustable to fit different areas? Or does it have to be build as a square?
I am building a bar for my basement, and want to include a Wine rack, but the space I have is taller and narrower than the 72 Bottle Wine rack, can I adjust the shape to make it fit my bar?

A: I would suggest going to a hardware store and getting a few strips of metal and drill your own holes....but just a guess.

Q: Can it be installed on the wall?

A: You can attach these to the wall so they will not topple over, but you cannot attach them to the wall freestanding. These racks must be flat on the ground.

Q: Do 1.5L bottles fit in this rack? My bottles are 4-3/8" in diameter and 14" long...

A: They will fit on the top rack, but no inside the rack; at least, I could not get any of my 1.5 L bottles to fit the inside. On the top, they are kissing each other.
If you're going to put the 1.5 L bottles on top, make sure the rack is secured to the wall.

Q: What stops the front metal from coming out of the wood pieces?
If you are not paying attention and pull a bottle out of the rack and hit the metal slats, what stops them from coming forward too and dumping all your bottles on the ground?

1 Answer
A: The wood is slit in such a way that the metal slats are held firmly in place through the pressure applied by the timber to the steel. There should be no problem of the bottles pulling the slats out.
