    OEM spark plugs work fine.

OEM spark plugs work fine. These came with a 0.045" gap, which was right for my car. When I removed the old spark plugs, I measured the gaps of the old plugs, and some of the gaps were wide. I applied some Permatex Silver Grade Anti-Seize to the threads of the new spark plugs before installing, and then afterwards applied some Permatex Dielectric Grease to the spark plug wire boots before re-attaching the wires. One note: Be sure to use a spark plug wire puller when removing the wires from the spark plugs, or you might have the same problem I had, where one of the wires detached from the crimped end. I actually had a spark plug wire puller, but forgot to use it! Fortunately, the spark plug wire was easily fixed using a couple pliers. The engine now runs smooth, and I seem to be getting better gas mileage, except sometimes there is a small miss just after start-up, which quickly goes away. I'll run with it for a while, and see if anything changes with warmer temperature, before thinking of changing the wires, coil pack or O2 sensor.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
