Q: Hi, Can this be used on metal electrical contacts inside something like an automobile HVAC air flow actuator ?

2 Answers
  • A: I wouldn't use a silicone lubricant on electrical contacts, you should use a dielectric grease. Actually WD-40 should work good because it is a water displacement, doesn't conduct electricity, and lubricates. Just be careful with WD-40 because it attacks some rubber and plastic.
