    Poor Tread Life

I got Factory OEM on my Tesla Model Y. Driven for 12k miles and 4 tread left on front, 6 on rear. Technician said I need to change the tires in next couple of months. Very unhappy that I need to change the tires so quick.

This tire is made specifically for sport performance, hence its "traction" and "handling" features. Other reviews are from car owners who simply just had the wrong type of tire on their cars. Don't get this tire unless you live in all-around dry weather and own a sport vehicle made for speed and sport handling or else you'll just be like the other reviews de-rating the tire because you would've used it incorrectly! Find the tire made for your everyday needs!! Hope this helps.

I am 73 years old. Been driving since I was 14. Eagle F1 came with brand new 2018 Charger 5.7. I like power and response but don't do jack rabbit starts or stops. Tires rode smooth and quiet for the first summer. The first Michigan winter with about 5,000 miles on car was nerve-racking! No traction. Very poor handling! Had to take several days off. Could not get to work!! Tires ok in 2nd summer. Loaded 150 lbs of gravel in trunk for traction in 2nd winter (slightly better). 3rd summer tires began to slip on take-off in rains and wet pavement. Two tires would not maintain full 32# air pressure. Also began to hear and feel every small road defect and stone! Got rid of tires at 16,800 miles - tread sipes all gone! I am told his kind of tread life is not uncommon for this tire!

Replaced original tires which came new on the car but lasted only 31,000.
