Great tires so far at a great price. Huge upgrade over stove tires that come on the Z. The tread is attractive and the traction is "grippy".

A: Indy 500 is an Ultra-High Summer Performance tire. It can be a great tire for your sport car if you are looking for that impressive handling in the summer. The tread life of the tires depends upon the actual conditions of it’s use and may vary due to variations including tire maintenance, driving habits, services practices, road conditions and climate.

A: At temperatures below 7 degrees celsius, non-winter specific tires begin to lose elasticity and traction. Winter tires retain their elasticity which provides better control on both snow and cold, dry pavement. Nevertheless, you could still technically drive with the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tire but it is much better for both your safety and your car to switch over to Winter Tires when the temperature hits below 7 degrees.
