      A Bit Disappointed

Overall the remanufactured brake calipers are fine. The small disappointment comes from two things. It is recommended to replace them in pairs so I bought a left and a right caliper to replace. I would have expected these calipers to at least be repainted the same colour when they were rebuilt, but they weren't. Not a big deal but now I have two different coloured calipers on my truck. The other disappointment is that I was told that I would be charged a core fee that would be refunded to me once I returned the old calipers. This is partially true. What they didn't tell me is that even though I paid tax on the core charge, I don't receive the tax back. This doesn't make sense to me, but if that's the way it is, it should be communicated to the customer.

Terrible. Deceptive. Rebuilt when bill states all parts are considered new unless otherwise stated.

My complaint: Calipers defective replaced 3 times same weekend. No one told me I was buying rebuilt calipers and I feel if my parts were new as I had thought they were I would not have any problems. Also, it is stated on my bill via parts message "all parts are considered new unless otherwise stated" No statement on my bill saying they were rebuilt parts. I believe I would not of had any issues and wasted my entire weekend waiting on my car to be fixed if they were new. I'm not even so sure that the calipers I have on now are any good or that they will last a reasonable amount of time because they are rebuilt parts that are proven problematic! Another review someone posted had same issue. Terrible-rebuilt calipers. Remanufactured fancy name for rebuilt-refurbished-used and possibly fixed. Ancaster location.
