    very poor performance in snow

I purchased these tires for my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek (base model), to replace my old Yokahama Geolandar AT. These tires brand new were horrible in snow and on ice. Very poor cornering, sliding with no steering, poor braking and take off from standing still. My worn Yokahama tires were better performing. These tires have also not been that great in mud. Maybe the car is too light for them, but I will never use these again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent grip. This is my first time buying "All Terrain" tires, versus "All Season" tires and I am really impressed with these tires.

Great tire, just not white lettered like website pictures.

Love the Pirelli’s. I was looking for a little more aggressive tread for winter driving. A little disappointed that they were not white lettered like the on-line pictures showed, as the original ones we had were and completed the look for me. They are quiet and ride nice.

    Questions

Q: I just ordered 4 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus Tires for my Ford F-350. I do a fair amount of RV driving pulling a 5th wheel. Will this tire be suitable?

    2 Answers
    • A: It’s best to connect with the manufacturer directly for this kind of information as they’re are the source of testing/usage information regarding the intended use of the tire and testing results before moving to production. I did contact them directly before buying a set of 4 over a year ago, and they responded within 24hrs.  My experience is that these tires are very reliable, durable, and works well in both summer and winter conditions;  better than my previous winter and all season tires.
