Product Details

The Michelin CrossClimate® 2 All Weather Tire provides superior traction through wet and snowy conditions. Designed for year-round performance, this all weather tire has an innovative rubber compound and tread design to deliver exceptional performance in all weather conditions to help keep you and your passengers safe while on the road. Made to wear longer than other tires from leading competitors, this Michelin all season tire is also designed to block and cancel out road noise for a smooth, safe and quiet ride.

Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

  • V-Shaped tread design optimizes rain and snow traction while improving dry handling for superior all-season use

  • 3-D SipeLock tread design distributes force evenly for durability and maximum grip and handling in dry conditions

  • Wheels sold separately

  • Provides up to 31% more snow traction than other tires, even when worn, for added safety

  • Stops up to 16 feet shorter than other tires on dry roads for superior handling

  • Stops up to 56 feet shorter than other tires on wet roads, even when worn, for enhanced safety

  • Comes to complete stop on wet roads at more than 24 mph for superior safety through wet conditions

We purchased the tires as we needed new tires for the winter. However, in the Okanagan Valley there has not been snow. Last weekend we did travel through Hwy 97C and 5 to Vancouver and the tires handled good in the snow.

Fantastic purchase!

The ride of our SUV is more comfortable. The tire sound is greatly reduced. The way the tires dissipate water on the road is spectacular. I am so glad I bought them.

Excellent choice!

We put these tires on our 23 Hyundai Palisade and we have about 5,400 on them so far and are very happy with them! We did a road trip from ND to Oregon and on to Nevada. Drove on dry pavement, snow/compacted ice, thru a foot of fresh snow and rain of all levels thru flat terrain to mountain terrain. The tires handled all and were very quiet and provided a great ride. Very happy with the tires and recommend highly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

Q: Are these tires considered an all season tire or touring tires? I went to my local Canadian Tire and he said they are touring tires. I live in Northern Ontario so need to be good for winter too.

  • A: Internationally, in EU countries they are called All-Season tires because EU has higher standard that All-Season must have 3PMSF approve and if not they are consider Summer Tires. In North American, they are now called All-Weather tires but will be transition to be called as All-Season tires as the North American All-Weather market has grown to over 70% of purchase in the last few years as the naming is more accurate to the description of the functionality as to help sell off the current non 3PMSF All-Season tires. Consumer Report categorizes it as a Premium All Season Touring Tire.

Q: Hello. I have a 2016 Kia Sorento SX AWD. I spend my winters in Florida. Are these tires safe for the southern highways and can they tolerate excessive heat? Looking at the directional tread it appears they are conceived for a colder climate. Thanks.

  • A: This is the first time I’ve ever bought Michelin tires for my Honda CR-V and I must say they’re great in summer conditions even in extreme rain they channel the water away from the central part of the tire very well due to the unique tread pattern. And also by far the smoothest and quietest I’ve ever had, there’s virtually no road noise.

  • A: I don't have that many miles on the Michelin tires yet but they are slightly louder than normal tires. However, I've been happy with them, both in the summer and winter road conditions.
