Excelent tires

Bought them last year after having two fender benders om my Bridgestones Potenzas in rainy Vancouver. Did extensive research about tire ratings. Excelent tire, in snow, rain, ice,mud, very quite, fuel saving. Drove to Saskatchewan in winter, no issues at all. My golf use to burn 5.5 l per 100 kms, now 4.5. So far over 30 000 km on them still good thread and I drive them all year round, I believe they will be good for another 30 thou and then just for summer use. Very satisfied.

Q: These tires are classed as a winter tire, but the tread is similar to the newer, all weather type. Are these tires good for any season?

A: This tire and the other WinterContact TS Family of winter tires are designed for many original equipment vehicles to perform only in winter conditions as specified by Continental and the OE manufacturer. They may look like all-weather but their construction and compound are exclusively for winter use and are not recommended for all-season use.
