Product Details

Tackle winter roads with confidence using the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 Winter Tire, designed for superior traction and control in harsh conditions. Its specialized tread compound and bite particles enhance grip on snow and ice, while an optimized contact patch with sipes ensures responsive handling. Built to last, this durable tire offers extended winter performance, giving you reliable braking and handling, season after season.

Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

  • Confident stopping power on snow and ice

  • Improved tread pattern featuring 15% more block edges over the Blizzak WS80, the Blizzak WS90 takes wet, snowy and icy performance to the next level

  • On-off road rating: Highway

  • 30% more block stiffness in tread pattern for an extra season of wear

  • Sidewall styling: Blackwall

    Horrible place to buy tires!

The Canadian tire system sold me the wrong tires even after entering all of my vehicle information. This is not the first time it has happened as it did the same thing to a buddy of mine a few years back. Please make sure to triple check as the store associates will just shrug and say ‘it is what it is’. I will not consider shopping at this dying business ever again.

    Great winter tire

Tried multiple sets of WS80 and WS90 on multiple cars. WS90 improved noticeably on its longevity/durability compared to the WS80 while maintaining its great winter performance. One of the top winter tires out there. In my opinion, better than Michelin's X-Ice in deep snow, while being very close in performance on ice.

    Great price, great people

The price and the product is fantastic. The people at Canadian tire, especially in the garage, are cut above the rest. They are professional courteous, knowledgeable. I always enjoy working with them.

    • A: Not only would i say yes to your question, i would also say that over the past 50 years of driving in the winter, i would use nothing but the Bridgestone Blizzak tires, I have drove along by more AWD's and big Jeeps in the snow banks then i can count, in my front wheel drive car and my AWD's stay on the road from Newfoundland to Alberta, North Dakota to Maine.

Q: Can the ws90 be mixed with the ws80? I only need to replace one of my tires.

    1 Answer
    • A: Hi, thank you for the question. The WS90 and WS80 have different tread designs and compounds, it is not recommended to replace only one tire. It is always best practice to replace a minimum of 2 (on the same axle), if the vehicle is AWD/4WD 4 tires are recommended.
