Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

Winter Spirited Tire

I was very fortunate to have purchased these tires for my 2012 Honda Civic Si. Size: 205/55R16. Now I purchased smaller rims from an older model. The theory is for winter, you want a skinnier tire, which slices right through the snowy landscape, and these tires do that very thing with handling and a beautiful grip. I do upset some fellas with their huge 4 wheel drive vehicles, but they simply can not keep up with me. So not for everyone, but these type tires do offer very good control in the snow. Thanks Bridgestone!

Perfect performance for this winter

I got my new tires on the first day of snow and so far this winter they have already been tested in all conditions. We have seen ice, slush record snow levels and bare streets. The tires perform well in all the conditions and my family and friends who have ridden with me and driven my car have been very impressed with the performance. I have had Blizzacs before and always been happy with the performance and will always choose them for my vehicles.

Florida Speed-Rated Beach Tire

Snow tires aren't just for snow and ice. A dedicated snow tire can be very useful during heavy Florida rain storms; additionally, I found the Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 tires to be very good on the beach. Loose sand was no problem for the LM001's.

Absolute worst winter tire, ever!! Stay Away!!

Similar to another review on this site, I love Blizzak tires such as the WS80 and 90, which I have on other BMWs. However, the LM001 is dismal in all winter conditions and is seriously dangerous stopping on ice, curling rocks stop faster on ice than these tires. I use to ice race and ,therefore, rate myself much higher than the average driver on snow and ice and these tires scared me. I have had performance based winter tires like the Nokin Hakappalita RSI which were very good but the LM001, I would rank at 10% of the capability of the discontinued RSi's. Seriously, don't know what Bridgestone was thinking with these tires. Anyone, who has bought these tires should get a credit towards proper winter tires.

Q: Interested in this tire for a Tesla Model3. I want to know if this is low rolling resistance tire and/or generally if it is a good tire for improved mileage ( lower fuel consumption Or in the case of EVs, lower electrical energy's consumption)
