Q: Are these tires good in snowy weather? If so, how well are they in deep snow?
3 years agoA: These are an "ALL Weather" tire meaning they have the 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol on the sidewall. All Season tires don't have this rating. These will be much better on ice and snow than All Season tires but because they are designed to also include Summer use, drive accordingly in the more severe winter conditions.

Q: Why are these tires classified as All Weather given that they are not M+S rated?
3 years agoA: M&S ( mud and snow ) is a tire designation that All Season tires usually have on the sidewall. They are no good in either mud or snow although better than Summer tires in light snow and better than mud terrain tires on wet, or bare dry pavement. They are rated with the 3 peak mountain symbol which makes them better in snow and on ice than All Seasons ( 3 seasons ) although they are slightly lower performing than a good quality Snow and Ice radial winter tire and they will likely wear a little faster than quality all seasons if driven aggressively in hot weather.

Q: We have a 2022 Hyundai Elantra Ultimate. This add for the Kumho Solus 4S HA32 shows the mountain symbol with only 2 peaks. What is the difference with the 3 peak symbol?
3 years agoA: I don't know what the difference is (whoever created the ad should know best) but the tires, themselves, have the three peak mountain snowflake symbol; as well as a series of others.
