Thanks to the lousy weather we in northwestern Ontario have been getting this year plus the fact I am handicapped and limited to what I can do; this style of shovel make it easier to lift heavy snow with moderate ease. And the design makes for easy storage in my vehicle.

Great compact shovel to keep in reserve

This is the second year in a row I've bought this shovel (the first has been left at the MIL's for use there). This shovel is very compact when the shaft is collapsed, and just long enough when expanded. Tall people may find it too short, but hey this is really intended as a thing to keep in the trunk of your vehicle and use when needed. It's light but still pretty sturdy. Recommended.

A: Hello Londonguy, The handle has a mechanism on the shaft that allows you to adjust the height of the telescopic handle. There are two pins you push in and you can adjust the handle up or down. -Garant GP
