Used for one hour and blown already. Reducer and half pressure too. Tossed receipt. My bad...

Great for one growing season only

I found this hose let out just the right amount of water and was able to keep pressure up throughout the entire hose even when I had a couple linked. It did have blow-out which occured way more frequently after one growing season. I would just wrap the hose with black rubber electrical tape around the length where the leak was to limp it through the season. For the price I can see being able to afford a new one each season, for the environment though... not so much.

I was not going to purchase after reading another review but with the lack of rain I went ahead and purchased 2 and laid them around the bushes. I turned on the water - just part way as recommended on another site - and they are dripping like crazy. No leaks - no spurts - soaking in evenly. Once I have them exactly where I think they should be - I am going to bury them so they are more efficient. For the price I am completely satisfied. Will purchase a couple more the front yard...

The poor reviews were accurate

I purchased this soaker hose this afternoon and used it right away. Within minutes a major leak appeared about 5 feet from the end and I crimped the hose to stem the flow. I went to turn the water on and when I returned a minute later another major squirt about 1 foot away from the first one. Crimped it again and within 10 minutes it blew at about mid length. Time to give up. The warranty is impressive but given the poor quality of the product I would expect to spend more driving back and forth exchanging than it's original cost. I might just chalk it up as a bad experience and try to search out a better one. The one star was for the price but after thinking about it I decided it was overpriced for a product that doesn't begin to perform.

A: Very Low or it will create a large hole and a geyser! Start with very little flow, and gradually increase it at the tap until you are happy.

Q: Can this be hooked up to a rain barrel or will little to no pressure be a problem?

A: It can be hooked up to a rain barrel it does require some sort of pressure, either from the water in the barrel its' self or something like a gravity feed by elevating the barrel would work best.
