The running time of the battery can vary depending on the job at hand. Factors that affect the runtime are the type of grass/weeds you are cutting and how much trimming you are doing. The typical battery charge allows for the average 1/2 acre yard or 30 minutes of worktime for the trimmer and an average of 7-12 minutes on the blower. Additional 20V batteries can be purchased at your local Canadian Tire store to increase the runtime. Thank you for choosing Yardworks tools! - Cas

Q: Bought the Yardworks 20V Grass Trimmer and Blower/Sweeper Combo Kit yesterday. Charging the batter for 12 hours now, the light is still red. Does it mean the battery charger does not work. What I should do now?

  • A: Just a follow up to my question posted above. Have exchanged the product without any problem. So far loved the tools. Battery last enough for me to finish my yard work for blower and the trimmer. Only issue I got is I cannot get the line feed automatically. Have to manually feed the line to keep trimming the grass. Still trying to figure it out.

Q: Why did you sell just the 20V trimmer a year ago and now only sell it as a package with the blower? Can I not just buy the blower? Surely people would buy a single product with a 20V battery hoping it could be used with other purchased products! So dumb!
