Love our 12 ft x 14 ft Cedar wood Pergola !!!

Bought this 12 ft X 14 ft Pergola a couple of years ago! It is made from cedar and had the fragant smell of cedar for sometime ! We have had many memorable family gatherings since then and enjoy the ambience around it very much. We will be installing a retractable roof soon so we can spend even more time outdoors rain or shine! Love it! Yardistry was very helpful and promptly sent us various parts, nuts, bolts which we needed without delay. Great customer service too!

. Was hard setting it up, needed three people. However once it was up it has performed extremely well. We have had it for 3 years and it still looks great. We are really enjoying the extra outdoor living space

What a great product, so unique and different from all the other pergolas, we are constantly getting great comments on ours. Definitely takes some time to assemble, but it's not hard at all - just time consuming. Order this, you will love it!

Q: What hardware do you need to anchor the pergola into pressure treated wood deck? My deck has 2-ply 2x8 beams that will support the base.

A: Hi Lisa, We supply L -Mounts with this structure which gives you the flexibility to permanently install your structure to a pre-existing or new wood or concrete surface. • The hardware to attach the Post Mount to the structure is included. • The hardware to mount the structure permanently will need to be purchased separately at your local hardware store. If you check page 5 of the instruction manual this will show examples, however we do suggest to refer to your local building and city codes, ordinances, neighborhood covenants and height restrictions regarding this type of structure for guidance on acceptable installation requirements.

Q: Is there a weatherproof finish on this? I'm wondering how long until it has to be re-stained....

A: Wood components are manufactured with Cedar (C. Lanceolata) which is protected with factory applied water-based stain. Knots, small checks (cracks) and weathering are naturally occurring and do not affect the strength of the product. Annual application of a water-based water repellent sealant or stain will help reduce weathering and checks.
