Product Details

BWD's cylinder head temperature sensor uses a calibrated bimetallic contact arm to precisely detect when your engine reaches the desired temperature. The two dissimilar metals expand at different rates, causing the contact arm to creep and make the electrical connection needed at the right temperature. This robust design employs high-grade materials to deliver reliable performance for service professionals. When connected, the sensor can help prevent overheating and related engine damage.
