Poor Manual

Unit does not have a chain/bar oiler. Have to oil manually. The manual is totally useless, no accompanying text to explain, just pictures.

Frustrating product and customer service

Within 30 minutes the chain came off the saw. Then I spent another 30 minutes trying to get the chain back on! Even with YouTube videos and instructions, I couldn't get it back on. Returned the item and then Canadian Tire told me they would not refund me because I had used the product! Bad customer service. Ended up with a gift card instead! :(

Clears hedges and plants blocking the sidewalks.

Gets rids of large hedges that block the sidewalks! I use a Wheelchair, and I used to carry pruning cutters to cut one branch at a time. I tried a Hedge Trimmer but it kept getting jammed by the branches, but this device slices through anything! I was very impressed! The only thing I dislike is how leaves get stuck around the drive wheel, so I have to remove the chain cover to clear it out.

Q: Hi, Does the WG326 need oil? If so what type oil and where to place it?

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the WG326 does require oil, but it does not have a built-in reservoir like larger chainsaws. Instead, you manually apply bar and chain oil directly to the chain and guide bar. Before use, you should turn off the tool, remove the battery, and apply a small amount of oil along the bar and chain where they make contact. After reinstalling the battery, briefly run the saw to help distribute the oil evenly. For best performance and chain life, the manual recommends reapplying oil regularly—about every five cutting sessions. Thank you for choosing WORX!
