Want gas power with electric reliability?

Finally, an electric leaf blower that competes with the gas powered back pack blowers. With the 4 battery pack I can work for about an hour. I have more chargers and batteries so I can keep going nonstop though. This thing is powerful and pushes even wet heavy leaves. I can't wait to try it this winter, yes use your blower on the first few storms if it is the fluffy stuff!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Backpack Blower is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a neighborheed with countless 100-200 year old trees so leaf season is a chore. I've had the WG585 620 CFM/165 MPH handheld blower for several years now and have run into battery life issues even with 4 batteries for such a large job, it is great for a light and powerful handheld blower! My .33 acre yard is a large tough job though. This year I switched to the backpack blower with 4 5 ah batteries and this thing gets the job done! Battery life is much better and it is light with power that rivals most gas backpack blowers. If you have a larger yard or high volume of leafs, this is such a time saver!

Great battery

Love the different feature of hard surfaces and grassy/bushy surfaces. With my previous battery powered leaf blower my average work time to clear my yard was 60 mins to 90 mins (not including the down time of recharging the batteries). But now the same task can be completed in 30 - 45 mins with the bonus of having one power bar out of three remaining. On another note … my arms and shoulders are great full for the backpack style harness!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Proud and satisfied Worx products. The blower rounds my home upkeep needs perfectly. It helps flushing leaf debris from under plants, shrubs and trees with more than enough power.

Questions

Q: I want to buy both this blower and the 80v mower since they use the same battery pack. Will either of them be offered as tool only so I only have one charging dock?

  • A: Would love this as tool only as well since I already have a mower with the base camp power.

Q: How does the noise that the Nitro produces compare to that of a traditional gas-driven leaf blower? My city is considering outlawing gas blowers because of air AND noise pollution.

  • A: I have a gas powered blower as well and I can run this thing at 6 am and no one will complain. It makes about 10% noise compared to any gas blower

Q: Can this backpack blower be setup to be used left-handed? It looks like it could from the pictures and manual. It appears as if the backpack harness has the same plug on both the left and the right that the piece w/ the backpack release button plugs in?

Then all that is needed is to move the mounting rod to the right side of the blower unit. A hole would have to be drilled in the end cap to mount the rod to the right of the blower unit. Then the tube with the hand control would be on the top side. I'm left-handed too not by choice. Glue works pretty good.

Q: What is the run time on high?  I have an older 56 volt blower and on low it doesn’t move the large volume and size maple leaves off grass. Has never worked to clear leaves from beds and plant.  It’s always struggled to do my whole yard. Lots of charging.

  • A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. You can experience, up to 60 minutes of runtime when you're purely using it on low. However, using high and turbo mode will drain the batteries much quicker. Thank you for choosing Worx!

Q: Does the Nitro 80V blower require you to depress a trigger all the time you’re operating it? I have limited strength in my hands and holding down a trigger the whole time I’m using the blower isn’t feasible.

  • A: Hello There! Thank you for your question. No, you don't have to continuously hold down the power button on the WORX Nitro WG572 cordless backpack blower. Once you press the power button, the blower will stay on until you press the button again to turn it off. Thank you for choosing Worx!
