The battery life is impressive

I’ve had the chance to use this mower twice so far this fall, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The battery life is impressive—I have a medium-sized yard (not small, not huge), and by the time I finished mowing, the battery still had more than half of its charge left. The mower itself is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I purchased the self-propelled version, but I only needed to use that feature in a few hilly areas. For most of the yard, pushing it manually was effortless, which will help conserve battery life in the long run. Overall, I’m very happy with this mower. It performs well, is easy to handle, and has excellent battery efficiency. Thanks!

80 V Brushless is the best

I’ve owned two Worx mowers before, and the 80V Brushless model is by far the best. At 68, I needed something that made mowing less strenuous, and this mower delivers. It’s powerful, well-built, and easy to maneuver. I can now finish my yard quickly without feeling exhausted. Highly recommended for anyone looking for performance and ease of use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great mower for the money!

For the price this is a good value. I like the self propelled feature. I’d like to see the battery life last longer, I definitely had to buy more and I don’t even have a big yard. It comes assembled, is mulched well and it doesn’t seem to miss spots like my other one did!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: How long does the battery last? How long does it take to charge batteries.

  • A: I am very disappointed in the run time of this mower. it would take me 1 hour with gas mower to do my front and sides and back yard. with this mower I can only do the very front and not the sides or back, which is about 20 minutes run time. I thought i could at least do the whole front with this mower. I am very disappointed .

Q: Can I obtain an orange lever piece for my mower?  Purchases in June 2022. The lever piece on the left handle broke - like the pictures anonymous posted recently (24 days ago)

  • A: Call customer support and they will replace the mower. The orange handles are flimsy and break easily, but are non-replaceable. I have had it happen on 2 different mowers with normal use. Customer service was very easy to work with and very prompt in addressing the issue

Q: I saw a runtime question earlier, but I am unsure if the response was for the Nitro 40V or the Nitro 80V. Can you elaborate as the runtime of each model in self propelled mode?

  • A: Run time may be important from a brand or model comparison perspective,  All else being equal you’ll probably want the best quality battery with the longest life span, so this is certainly a valid question, but don’t let run time dissuade you from going electric.  Run time is unlimited, really.  Just buy a back up battery / set to ensure you’ll always have adequate run time / coverage.   In some cases folks have anxiety over being able to finish the job due to battery limitations.   That limitation is removed when you have a back up battery.   I have had a battery mower for 4 years.  It came with a 6 ah battery and I bought an extra 2.5 ah battery. I’ve never run out of power to get the job done. I recognize that the cost of the batteries can be high, but it just needs to be something to factor into the purchase decision.

Q: Can you clean the mower with a hose? Also, can you mow when the grass is wet?

Q: How long will fully charged batteries run the mower, I have lawn which currently takes about 1hour 15 Mina to cut with gas powered mower and i am considering purchasing an electric battery mower to replace my gas mower?

  • A: Very hard to answer this questions because of the variables: size of yard, type of grass, how short you want to cut it, how much will you use the self-propel function (this does deplete battery power faster). I have a little over 1/4 acre yard, mixed grasses, keep grass about 2.5 " high and it takes 4 batteries to do all of it if you want to cut all at once. Batteries completely discharged take around 2.5 hrs. to recharge.

Q: Nothing we do can make our blade spin, the mower turns and the propelling lever works properly, but the blade won’t spin. Normal or defective?

Q: I'm 5'3" and NEED self-propel due to mobility/stamina issues. I don't want to feel like I'm driving a chopper (bike). Is the handle height fixed or adjustable? What is the fixed or lowest height possible?

Q: How is the lawn mower on hills?

  • A: Slopes are a major factor related to slip and fall accidents, which can result in severe injury. Operation on all slopes requires extra caution. If you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it. 1. Mow across the face of slopes; never up and down. Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes. 2. Watch for holes, ruts, bumps, rocks, or other hidden objects. Uneven terrain could cause a slip and fall accident. Tallgrass can hide obstacles. 3. Do not mow on wet grass or excessively steep slopes. Poor footing could cause a slip and fall accident. 4. Do not mow near drop-offs, ditches, or embankments. You could lose your footing or balance

Q: What is the run time for this? Thanks Joe
