Please, when you’re looking for a trimmer edger product this is the one to buy. I have two one has been retired and the other for some reason it stopped working. I am very upset about that. The battery charges perfectly but when I add it to the unit The motor starts to smoke. I couldn’t believe it. You have any this model on hand may be forgotten about if you do, please reply. Thank you, Worx

32 volt weed eater discontinued?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my 32 volt weed eater that I've had for a long time quit on me. I have two 32 volt batteries that are useless now because I can't buy another weed eater. Hi Commander Lawrence is really responsible for the success. Loving you, Bethlehem

Yes, I recommend this product.

I appreciate the suggestion

We also have a 32 volt that just died. We've had it at least 8 years. I have nothing to compare it to as it was the only one I've ever owned. Judging by the comments I read, praise if the 32v and desire to bring it back has fallen on deaf ears. THANK YOU for the recommendation to purchase what I want elsewhere (3rd party). It's interesting how companies lose money on purpose by discontinuing quality products "to save a buck". In the end, you lose business. Therefore, I appreciate the suggestion to buy what I want elsewhere. I see you're asking my gender on my you're questionnaire. Therein lies the problem. It shouldn't matter.

Yes, I recommend this product.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE 32V GT 2.0 String Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased many WORX products and am ready to purchase another 32V GT 2.0 String Trimmer. I just found out it has been discontinued, and I am very disappointed. I had a 20V WORX trimmer, and replaced it several years ago with the 32V trimmer. The 32V is SO MUCH BETTER and runs so much longer; therefore, I am asking and hoping WORX will be offering the 32V trimmer again very soon. PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the 32V trimmer -- it is the best. The units with the two 20V batteries are too heavy and cumbersome -- not something I would purchase! If WORX does not bring this unit back, I will be looking for another brand (which I really do not want to do because I love WORX and have many, many of their products.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm an older single woman, I love my trimmer, and expected that I could simply Have it fixed. Now I'm stuck with two 32V batteries and a charger which I cannot use. I do not have the income to replace the entire trimmer, not do I want to research all of the confusing choices that are on the market

  • A: Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for your question. The 32V battery line has been discontinued, meaning we do no longer produce them. The most similar model to the one you have will be the WG170.2, this will use the same spools and spool caps. As well it will still have the same function of the trimmer, edger, and mini mower. Thank you for choosing Worx!

  • A: If you have not checked out eBay or Amazon or even your local CRAIGSLIST, for people who are selling their old units, that would be where I would begin to look. As you have batteries, I would be interested in purchasing them if you would like to sell them, as well as any chargers you may have. Please contact me if you wish to sell any or all. Thank you.
