J ai acheté ce produit au magasin ville Vanier ,ces une belle lumière inutile,l’es fente sont trop petite pour que les maringouin puissent y entrer,j ai tenté de vouloir me faire rembourser ,mais il ne veule rien savoir d un remboursement,de plus le gérant dégage une agressivité ,j ai du repartir avec cette belle lumière,Donc avant d acheter un produit à ce magasin il faut y pense Teste par un Canadien

Wasted money

No effect at all. Wouldn't catch any mosquitos, even not when you would leave it on overnight in the garden.

Does the job

This zappers does the trick with small flying insects, like mosquitoes. However, I find it's less powerful in terms of attraction and electrocution than the large powerful plug-in bug light that my mom used to use in our backyard when I was growing up. That big one attracted everything and fried insects so badly you'd hear the sizzling (yuck!).
This is NOT that type of bug light, but still does the job. I find that bugs are attracted to it, but don't fly directly into the light. Instead, it may take some time for them to make their way into the light and onto the electric grid. Once they hit the electric grid there's no spectacular frying. It doesn't even make a sound actually, but I've found several dead little flies and mosquitoes stuck to the grid so far.
I bought it to take it with me on vacation in the Caribbean where mosquitoes will eat me alive, and I've managed to last almost 2 weeks without a bite so it must be doing something right. I leave it on from dusk until late morning as it has also helped to kill mosquitoes that have become trapped in the house that are active inthe mornings.
