Don't wast your money

Terribly disappointed in this product. I bought two of them to use on a hike and they both leaked the first time I filled them up. Both of them leaked from where the hose meets the bag. Didn't even get to use them once.

Leaks and hard to fill

I've tried to take this on hikes and noticed every time I do, the bottom of my bag is wet. The hose and the bag don't seem to be securely fastened together. It's also nearly impossible to fill the bag to the actual full 2L capacity using a sink from where the filling entrance is.

I have purchased 2 now and both have leaked "allot" the first time I put water in them. Right from where the hose and bag connect.

Decent quality, good for the price

Puts together easily, doesn't leak. Nice long hose but not a soft bite-valve at the end. It's a silicone dust cap (which is promptly lost, as there's no attachment) and under that is a hard plastic push-pull valve. After you've finished drinking, water drains back down the tube until you get the valve closed. Fairly plastic-y tasting, but I put a teabag in with the water to disguise it. I expect the plastic taste to reduce over time. Overall, you get what you pay for, but if you're a weekend hiker like me this hits the mark for the right price.

A: It's not a proper hands free bite valve. There is a silicone dust cap and under that is a hard plastic push-pull valve.
