Great camping accessory

I got these a couple of weeks ago for the tarps for the popup trailer . A groups had suggested painting piles but these are so much better . Would highly recommend .

I decided not to purchase these because they do not include a built-in cap to secure the tarp/awning to the tip of the pole. Other products available online have such a cap, ideally connected via a tether so that it doesn’t get misplaced.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Does this come with an attached cap for the top of the pole to ensure that the tarp/awning stays secured?

  • A: No, it is wxactly as you see it.  The pokey bit is made to fit into a grommet.  If you want to use it in the center of your tarp, where no grommet exists, stick the pokey bit into the ground, and use the blunt end under your tarp,
