This is a liner, the expectation is it’s thin. It’s meant to protect your bag from oils and dirt to help ensure its longevity. It also helps give additional protection from the seems in your bag, and warm air escaping and cold air entering. It absolutely aids in increasing the warmth of your bag, which is definitely more noticeable in colder weather camping. Very happy with the purchase, definitely added degrees to my bag.

Used for sleeping in a hut, during summer. Warm enough after put my fleece on. Didn't test as it should, as a liner inside a sleeping bag, but I think it would work too. Very lightweight and compact. Not sure it will last more than a couple of seasons though.
