    Works but bothered my dogs

If you are wondering if these are a gimmick like I did, they aren’t. However, my dogs went crazy and interrupted the wireless controllers on our ps4 - everything was delayed and was doing weird things. Our husky insisted on being outside and she was stressed. Our rescue was staring at the floor panting really unsure of everything. When we unplugged it, everything went back to normal. The package says it doesn’t affect household animals; that’s a lie. Beware. If you don’t have pets then the product does work

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Hello CTA37, we are sorry you have had an issue with our product. Usually, this range doesn't bother dogs as many will let it go over their heads. Some dogs of a more nervous disposition may feel more uneasy about the noise – it really depends on how chilled out or nervous your dogs are. Each dog will react differently to hearing the noise, but, in general, it is nothing to worry about. I would recommend keeping your dog in another room when using the device or turn it off while the dogs are in the room. Thank you. WilsonHomeGardenProducts

    Good idea but ...

The ultrasound's energy is limited and directional. It cannot penetrate solid objects such as walls and furniture. With these drawbacks its effectiveness is restrained. You shall put it not close to the ground to enhance its reach. The device hums and so you may not want to install it in the bedroom. I put 3 of these plus a Catchmaster Multi Catch Trap in the basement but they were to no avail. Eventually went back to not so humane way (see my recommended trap) and caught the mouse.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We do regret that you are not experiencing any success while using the Wilson Predator Sonic Repel. This product should repel mice and rats wherever the ultrasonic soundwaves are present. Yes, the Ultrasonic soundwaves are directional and therefore will not penetrate anything solid, unfortunately that is the nature of sound waves.

Keep in mind that the Sonic repel does not actually hurt the rodent, it just creates an acoustically hostile environment that should keep them out, but even a very hungry mouse may still make forages into the effected area, if there is a food source present. Thus it's always best that you do not bait in the immediate area where the sonic repel is positioned. Baiting in the outlying areas where the Ultrasonic Soundwaves may be weakened, due to minimal access, would be recommended. A single Wilson Predator Sonic Repel will fill a standard room in a house, but if there are obstructions in the way a second unit is strongly recommended. It is not uncommon to use multiple units through out a standard family home. WilsonHomeGardenProducts

    Useless

Installed it at less than one meter from the area I wanted to protect (a shelf with some sealed perishables) and yet the number of droppings next day clearly demonstrated that the rat lingered there, undisturbed, for as long as it wanted. Traps ended up doing the job. So much for "humane" solutions. Of course, there's also the possibility that "my" rat was deaf...

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Translate with Google
    1 Answer

Q: i bought 2 Predator Soinc Repels and one of them has a green light on it and the other has a red light what does this mean? I wanted to know if one has stopped working and maybe the other is working and why the two have different colored lights (one's light is red the other's is green.)

    1 Answer
    • A: The colour of the LED does not indicate anything other than the product is working. As long as it is lit up, you are assured that it is still working. If the LED fails to light up then it is time to replace the unit.

Q: Will this bother my other pets? If i use one or two of these in my basement, would it affect my pets (gerbils, rabbit, cat and dog ) that lives upstairs, which is the level above the basement?

    1 Answer
    • A: Wilson Sonic Repel will not affect Dogs or Cats but as stated on the package, rodent pets, gerbils, rabbits, hamsters or guinea pigs should not be kept in the ultrasonically protected area. By placing the sonic repels in the basement and keeping pets that can be affected by the ultrasonic sounds on a different floor, the sounds should not be able to reach them. One unit fills an average sized room found in a family home, and the sounds will not travel through walls or the floor.
