Weed remains

Terrible and useless. I used three containers of this and I only had 16 weeds. Did not kill a single weed. I ended up using ROUND- UP

hello,
Wilson Lawn WeedOUT is a selective herbicide derived from hormones from the pea plant. It does not contain 2-4-D dicamba which was the old formulation used to kill weeds in lawns. It actually works the same as dicamba 2-4 -D but is safer to use but can take longer. You normally see effects within 24 hours and it can take 4- 8 weeks to completely kill the weed. And depending on the weed, could need more than one application.

Controlling Dandelions & Creeping Charlie

The dandelions started wilting & turned brown in 2 days. Things looked promising! But they kept growing, produced flowers & went to seed. It had no affect on the Creeping Charlie. If the dandelions don’t come back it will have been worth it but short term results are VERY disappointing.

Product is effective but the battery in the nozzle doesn’t even last for the whole jugs worth of spray. Not a huge deal, but I would rate it higher if this hadn’t been an issue.

A: It doesn’t kill the grass. You spray it all over the lawn and it’s suppose to kill just the weeds.

A: Hello Chiko, unfortunately not. Wilson® Lawn Weedout® Ultra provides control of dandelion and plantain (broadleaf and narrow-leaved), and ragweed and top growth control of fall hawkbit, hawkweed, orange hawkeed, cinquefoil, white clover and black medic in turf. Thank you.

Q: The 3lt. battery operated unit can it be refilled? How long is the battery life? Please provide full details & how can you use it on flower beds, potted flowers and fruit trees & vegetable beds. Thanks.

A: Hello, you can refill it with Wilson Lawn WeedOut Ultra concentrate (500 ml) at a dilution rate of 100 ml of concentrate for 900 ml of water. The battery life depend on the type of battery used – lithium batteries will last longer than alkaline. We put alkaline battery in our product. You could use this product in a flower bed but any spray that hits a flower plant will be adversely affected. Thank you!

A: Hello Marco, Thank you for your question. Yes this plant is very safe to use when it comes to kids and pets. It is a brand new product derived from hormones from the pea plant. It does not contain 2-4-D Dicamba. It actually works the same as Dicamba 2-4 -D but is safer to use. We do recommend waiting until the product has dried after application before allowing kids and pets on the sprayed area. Thank you
