This is my 2nd weston jerky gun. First one quit working after 4 batches of jerky. Took it back and got another one. Second gun quit working after 3 batches of jerky!! (feeder slips on rod) It's like it's worn out!!

Got mine for Fathers day gotta say it is a awesome jerky gun. made some jerky and peperoni sticks and love it. only thing I noticed was when using the release the guide didn't tell you to turn it to the left once pulled out to caulk the gun. other then that I cant wait to make some more stuff with this I have Celiacs and this is great cause now I know whats going into my meat. If you love meat snacks this is a must its construction is the best of any jerky gun I have seen yet. Easy to clean with the supplied cleaning brushes.

Go ahead punk, make my jerky!

I have recently purchased this gun and after using it for the first time thought it did extremely well. After watching many similar jerky guns over the internet, people say this was the best one on the market. The others seem too cheap and have too much plastic. This one is the tough, KING of all jerky guns. Now I only gave it 4 stars because I would have liked a clear see through strip running along the tube to show me how much meat I had left. If you love jerky and think you're going to make it time and time again then don't waste your money on the cheaper guns, go for the Weston.
