Nice bike, got it used, and bought a cord, great little machine. Don't expect the experience of a $1200 bike. it isn't.

    Great Purchase

Great bike...a win win when it's on sale May 8, 2012 "I am 75 yr old man and have been looking for an inexpensive recumbent bike for the last few months. I looked at this one and a different one at another store (I tried both and was undecided which one to buy), but when I saw this one had gone on sale for half price, I grabbed it. All parts were intact and well packaged, even the screws, washers, etc were blister packed and labelled although the manual referred to button screws and they were labelled as patch screws. I put this together in about an hour. It was simple and easy, I only had a bit of a struggle when joining the seat part to the frame with the help of my wife it was accomplished. The manual did say to have another person hold one part. and I must say it is a solid piece of equipment and if looked after it will last for many years I've been using it outside on my deck for a while now, the programs are helpful, although I prefer to work on it in manual mode. The batteries last a good length of time (4xD) if you don’t run the fan too often, but I decided to call the manufacturer’s number in the manual and order the optional adapter (there was a special offer inside and just by mentioning the ad instead of being $29.95 I purchased it for $12.95 plus shipping). The only complaint I really have about it is the seat configuration, it’s at a 90° angle and gets really uncomfortable after riding for a while so I use a cushion to protect my bum and lower back. At half price it’s a great machine and I give this bike 5 as a rating when it’s on sale, but just a 4.5 at full price as the seat is uncomfortable."

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Unsatisfied - Weslo Pro Company - Icon Canada Inc

Worst purchase ever - we bought this and found the length setting (knob with hard plastic end ) slipped constantly if pedalling at all hard. Wrote company rather than return to Canadian Tire and they sent a replacement knob that was worse - shorter - than original. Numerous attempts to get fixed - even told them how - they just stalled and finally quit even responding.. Easy fix - put sharp point on adjustment knob stem and drill as many holes as needed for adjusting length - could easily do up to 50 with compromising integrity of adjustement shaft. They stalled "referring to our engineers" - who have never responded. Suggested they refund me 1/2 as paid full price - for fixing it myself - they just inored me. Will never deal with this company again - or buy their products - they simply do not respond to problems - just stall - then ignore you.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    1 - 10 of 10 Questions

Q: I just bought the westlo pro 10.8. I just had a hip replacement and the bike is what they recommend. Problem the resistance even on 1 is quite hard. The bikes at physio aren't this hard to peddle. Is there any way to fix this so that it's a little easier to peddle??

    • A: Hi. If just want to peddle easy, don't turn on the switch power. leave it as is.

Q: what is the ethernet/network connection for? The back of the display has a network/ethernet connection next to the AC adapter. What is it for? I didn't see anything in the manual.

    1 Answer
    • A: The connection at the back of the console is used for technical troubleshooting in the event of a service call. It is not for consumer use and that’s why there is no mention of it in the manual.

    1 Answer
    • A: Bonjour, Oui, le régleur de tension est facilement accessible. Il est placé sur le tableau afficheur, à la porter de la main. Je viens d'acheter cet appareil et il est très silencieux car il est fait avec une résistance électromagnétique.
