Weber Spirit E 335 3-Burner BBQ Grill, Liquid Propane

OK grill. Came from a Weber Genesis that lasted 12 years before the insides rusted out. This is pretty basic but seems sturdy.

I ordered the grill online and it was quickly delivered. I encountered quality issues once I started building it. Two of the frames were bent, although the box had only a small dent. I thought I could fix the parts but then I ran into a another issue where there were missing fasteners. How difficult can it be to ensure that the parts are complete at the factory? I contacted Weber and they promised to send replacement frames and additional hardware. A few days later the replacement frames and hardware arrived. These replacements were extremely well packaged. I resumed assembling the grill and ran into a new problem: the replacement frames were not designed to accept the backplate that came with the grill. I contacted Weber once again and insisted on speaking with a supervisor. After some investigation, they realized that the replacement frames were designed for a different style of backplate than the one I had. How was this possible when I had previously registered my grill and they knew the serial number of it? Someone at the call center messed up. They said they would send me a replacement backplate with aligns with the replacement frames. After a few more days, the backplate arrived and I could finally complete the assembly of the grill. There was about a week where the kitchen was filled with boxes and parts while I waited for a resolution. Once I completed the assembly, I was impressed with the performance. The grill heats up very quickly and the grates are easy to clean. I've used the side burner and it also works well. I wish there were some hooks to organize cleaning brushes inside the cabinet but no such thing. I might try to rig up something myself. The grill comes with an odd metal bar designed to hold a match if the ignitor isn't working. I think most people use a wand-type lighter now instead of matches, so this device seems unneccesary.

Grill is what was expected as we’ve owned webers in the past. We went from a Genesis to a Spirit level and gave up some conveniences but non the less a great grill. We miss the flip up tray tables is only reason for a 4 instead of 5.

Great value, cooks fast and easy to use. Have this brand for more than 20 years.

I have used cheap Dept. Store BBQ's for decades. They always do...sorta ok. They last for a few years and then they crumble and fall apart and get replaced. NO MORE! This Weber grill is far better built and has delivered superior results everytime I've used it. I especially like the sear station feature. Using it you can take even marginal cuts and quickly sear them up and then finish on low giving you tender, juicy, flavorful meals every time. The flavor bars covering the burners are the most effective I've ever used at preventing flare ups. The side burner works great for frying things up or boiling vegetables. The grease collection is very effective, also preventing flare ups. The cooking grates clean quickly and easily. The only concerns I've noticed are that the propane level indicator is inaccurate. The tank will run out before the gauge shows it. Also, if there is a bit of cool breeze it can't heat up for searing like it does on a calm day so searing takes a little longer. This is a top notch BBQ. I'm very happy with this purchase.
