Does NOT work with 3/4" garden hoses

I was installing a washing machine yesterday and finally broke down and decided to go all pex. After completing the installation and connecting the washing machine hoses they sprayed water everywhere. If you're thinking of using this for a garden hose, or a washing machine, they WILL not work. I think it's because the side walls are too thin and don't press the internals or the gasket properly.
