Do not use on tubs

Used this on my tub. Pressed it down with full body weight. It channeled water in the crease and funneled it out onto the floor during showers and a mildew line quickly formed along the tap edge. When I pulled it up a few months later I found water trapped behind it, as the adhesive left cracks where is did not touch the tub surround. Where it did touch, it has left a permanent yellow stain an inch up the wall that I can't cover with caulk. Now I likely have to replace my tub surround. Might by fine for sinks, but horrible for tubs. Take the time to caulk!

Very durable, but with drawbacks

This is a great product. It's water tight and once it goes down it does not come up easily. If you are uncomfortable with or just don't have caulking equipment then this makes a decent alternative.
The only drawback is that it doesn't look as nicen as a properly beaded strip of caulk.

Q: can this be used for a temporary fix to 'outside' of a casement window? I am a women who needs a temporary fix on worn caulking on parts of a casement window outside, just as a temporary patch till spring and till I can hire someone! So would this work? Thanks!

A: The Seal-A-Crack Wall and Counter adhesive sealer is meant to seal the joint between a wall and a counter (indoor). Maybe some products in the weatherproofing section such as the Crack Seal could help you. It can be used for both indoor and outdoor.
